Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located? Do you have a store front?
We're located on the Northwest side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Currently, we are a home-based bakery. Customer pickups are arranged by appointment when booking.
How far in advance should I place my order? Do you cater to rush orders?
You can never be too early when planning your special event. We accept orders up to 12 months in advance. A two week notice is our suggested minimum time frame, but our calendar fills up fast. For any order placed under our 2 week minimum and if your desired date is already fully booked, a 100% rush fee will be required to accommodate you. Please plan early!
What information is needed to place an order? Where do I place an order?
When placing an order please include the following....
Desired date, your theme, what your looking for and how many servings, desired pickup time, and any example pictures to help give you an accurate price quote. Orders inquiries can be sent through the CONTACT US button on the home page or by shooting us a message on our Facebook business page.

How do I pay? Do you require a deposit?
A non-refundable 50% retainer fee is due at the time of booking for all orders over $500. All orders $500 and under must be paid in full to book. The remaining balance is due two weeks before your event date. It is the customers responsibility to keep track of their final payment date. If you miss your final payment date, a 25% late fee will be applied to your remaining balance. If your balance still isn't paid at the one week mark before your event, you forfeit your retainer fee and your order will cancel.Â
Payments can be made through Square, using the card of your choice or Cashapp.
Do you cater to special dietary needs?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate special dietary needs at this time. We do not offer vegan, gluten free, dairy free, sugar free, or nut free items. We are a home based bakery operating under the Wisconsin cottage law not subject to state licensing or inspection. Most of our products do not contain nuts unless specified, but we can't promise that there may be traces in some of our ingredients that we use.
Do you offer samples?
No. Wedding cake tastings are the only exception. If interested in a wedding cake tasting the fee is $25 and that amount goes towards your total if you book your wedding with Kandy Krush!
If you're interested in trying our cookies, but don't want to purchase a dozen, we suggest waiting for our holiday flash sales. During those times, cookies are sold at a smaller quantity and are priced lower than our custom orders.
What is your cancellation policy?
In the event of client cancellation, retainer fees are non-refundable and will not be issued under any circumstance. For all custom & signature cakes, no refunds and/or non-transferable options will be given to move your deposit around to other dates. We do not issue credits for any order under any circumstance. Kandy Krush has every right to cancel your order. You will be informed in writing and you will receive your deposit back within 60 days of the cancellation. In the event the client is not satisfied with their order, the entire uneaten order must be returned to Kandy Krush so a resolution can be discussed.
What is your delivery/pick-up procedure?
Orders are typically pick-up only, but deliveries may be arranged at the time of booking for an additional fee. There is a 30-minute grace period for all order pick-ups. After the grace period your order will incur a $20 late fee for anytime up to 30 minutes. Anything over an hour a late fee of $40 applies and/or your order will have to be picked up on the next business day. Cake delivery is limited to Milwaukee County only and the delivery fee depends on distance traveled. We highly suggest delivery for all cakes with 2+ tiers. If declining delivery, once the cake leaves our hands at the place of business it is your responsibility and we are not held liable for any damage to the cake during client transport.
